A few of my favorite things
July 7, 2007
I walked around one of my favorite parts of the city and, via camera phone, all within the vicinity of two blocks, snapped ten wonderful things.
1. Live, old-fashioned bands in a pavilion. 2. Hanging flower pots with live flowers.
3. H&M. 4. Shelves and shelves of Moleskines.
5. A Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows book voucher. 6. Ugly dolls.
7. Children playing in fountains in the sun outside of the Cheesecake Factory. 8. A Vera Bradley display.
9. A Passion Fruit Green Tea smoothie from Caribou Coffee. 10. The Caribou Coffee bear tuffet.

Mm, Moleskines and Caribou Coffee. I agree wholeheartedly.

I definitely believe that the Caribou Coffee/Joseph-Beth combination is much better than Starbucks/Barnes and Nobel.

I totally want an Ugly Doll. Although I don’t think they’re quite as adorable as Giant Microbes :D
And I’ve never gotten into Moleskines. I think I’m too impatient to journal by hand.
Caribou beats Starbucks, hands down! :D

I wish I had live bands playing in my area. Whenever I go to Disneyland, if there are any people playing music I just have to stop and listen.
Zippity doo da, zippity ay, my oh my what a wonderful..
