Eating for an audience
September 6, 2007
Viddler had this contest during the month of August in which they welcomed members to upload videos of themselves eating and/or drinking various meals they enjoyed (”MealTodays”). The Viddler gang then chose their favorite nine and, with the help of a panel, voted for the winner. The prize is an iPhone.
I did a documentary-type thing of Pittsburgh food and was picked as a finalist, and although I didn’t win, the video tribute that was put together to represent the voting process was very entertaining. Their critique of my entry shows up at 4:50. It highlights the bitterness of a jealous Eagle’s fan (I love Gary!) and my edginess with eating on camera.
And please excuse me for not embedding the actual video of my entry. Way too much cheese.

AH! Congratulations on that! Yours was probably my favorite.
And didn’t you just buy an iPhone? What are you doing, hoarding them? :]

Woooaaaaa. Dude, I like cheese.
I think I’d be a little squeamish about eating on camera too. I don’t blame you too much. Even though you so could’ve had two iPhones, and then sent one to me.

Hi Rachel, loved the video!!! We never figured out who was the guy where you kept the camera going? Gary thought it was a stalker or something! Anyhow, great job, your video skillz were very impressive!
