Avoidance

My previous advisor, under the major of “Professional Writing,” was an extreme feminist who told me not to go into the field of education because it would stunt my creative growth. I’m sure I nodded in unsure agreement. I didn’t need a feminist to tell me what to do with my life. I’m more than aware that I’m too big of a shrew to take care of a classroom. I’ll have my own children to inconvenience.
I have at least 25 pages worth of final papers to write and I spent the majority of the day typing pages of fiction which, like this post, had nothing to do with anything.
