Christmas work

Around this time of year, my night job, delivering newspapers to a rather large neighborhood, entails finding mass quantities of cheap Christmas cards and filling out around 300 of them to send out one night in hopes they are returned with some Christmas joy. That is green. And rhymes with honey.
I’ve been doing this on and off all day, hoping that I won’t need the use of my right hand before Christmas.
I took a short break to stop by the TreeHouse earlier where they were offering free portraits in exchange for toys. I have always admired this beneficiary in particular, Big Brothers Big Sisters, which, if you’re in the area, is searching especially for big brothers to volunteer. And even if you’re not, I’m sure all local chapters could use Bigs.
Here’s my picture with Jesse (owner), who looks double awesome in his yellow pants, and Bello (dog), who was overwhelmed by the whole thing.

If I got that picture in a Christmas card, I would frame it and keep it up all year.

Awwww, so cute! He is so small! I got a Pekingese puppy for my birthday this week. :)

you look lovely but it does rather look as if your right hand has actually fallen off from all that card writing and that you are using the dog to disguise the fact.
I always laugh when I hear Americans talk about pants as of course they are trousers here and pants are what go underneath.
