Fall cleaning

I decided to redesign this website again. It’s funny — I’ve spent the last several years trying to overload this place with widgets and junk, and the only way I was able to bring myself to update was to start tearing crap down. I started using Tumblr again, and liked the simplicity of the design so much that I decided to change this layout and the photography section to match (both of which are still on Wordpress).
The old lifecast section is now powered by Tumblr, which is much easier to update while away from my computer, which is more often than not anymore. The header font is Monbijoux, the chair is for resting, and my dog is a goddamn Yorkshire Terrier.
This website turned five last month, and has spanned three colleges, a dozen jobs, breakups and neuroses and OH THE ANGST. And I’m guessing it will continue to. Hopefully with less colleges. God, I hated college.
Thank you for checking back here, for not yet (YET!) deleting this place from your Readers, and for wearing that thing that you wear, because you look delightful.

Thanks for coming back. You look good.
Great. Just great.
Where have you been, young lady? We’ve been worried sick…
Dan – Are you feeling ok? Your name looks a little queer.
Thank. You.
Welcome back! I love this layout. The simplicity really works.
Love the new look! :) Reminds me of a film I saw… but of course, I can’t remember what it was!
I was just thinking about how delightful this looks on me. Although it might look better still on Dan.
The bookmarks are my favorite. I don’t even click through them much, but they’re nice to have.
You should go to Norm’s podcamp session “Web Design for the Common Man” to share your insight on adding and removing features and entire sections from your blog over 5 years.
No one’s doing a session on blogging about your blogging…
;)
It looks really good! :)
Looks great!
I’ve decided to temporarily embrace the name on my birth certificate. But after your bout of surliness, I guess I’ll retire it.
I am so glad you are back. I like the redesign. It’s clean.
Nice to have you back. Love the new look.
My blog SO to date your blog.
Although it’s afraid because your blog is such a snappy dresser.
Love it! So good to have you back. :)
Looks great. Welcome back!
Oh, this old thing? It’s just something I picked up awhile back. They said assless chaps were out of style but, to me they are timeless.
Happy 5th birthday to your website! I like the matchy matchy across all sections.
Tumblr is awesome. Welcome back!
welcome back and the new layout is loverly.
Yay! I think it looks great. I like the picture, too.
