    Here and Back

    August 5, 2005

My laptop died. Completely. It’s taking over a month for the thing to be repaired, and in the meantime I repaired our old PC out of sheer technological withdraw. And I probably still will never backup my junk.

Since everything needed to be redone anyway, I finally converted to WordPress. It was easier to work with than I had originally thought, and the end result is something so amazing that greymatter should have been instantly destroyed for even attempting to coexist on the same internet. It took a while for me to get the hang of it, but Modi has the patience of a goddess.

This time tomorrow I’ll be in California, probably suffering seizures as a result of 1.) the plane trip itself, 2.) the prospect of the 12 hour flight home, and 3.) the fact that I’ll be reciting a speech from memory that I should have had memorized weeks ago. Oh, and the fact that I have no idea what to do in airports, especially by myself.

I’ll be working on the content pages over the next few days. Hopefully by the end of next week, I’ll know where I’m going to college this semester.

Time to pack. Wish me luck.

Welcome back! I hope your laptop gets repaired soon.

Lots of people are using wordpress now..but my host only uses Movable Type so we’re using the same with her.

      GOOD LUCK! :D
