Hometown tourist
April 19, 2008
Emma is in Pittsburgh with me this weekend, her first time in the city, and my first time meeting her, so I’ve been having a good time touring and eating, and mostly standing in one place and deciding where to take her.
Have you ever seen two indecisive people try to figure something out? The general scene when a question arises usually involves myself staring off in avoidance, and across from me, a stressed Emma with her head in her hands.
But I really can’t wait until this girl is gone. Seriously? I’ve been carrying a wig in hopes that I can discretely slip it on and leave her somewhere in the city. She’s studying hotel management. She’ll find someplace to stay.
