Lazy, DE
August 5, 2007
You know you’ve reached a new level of lazy when it’s exhausting to think of someone else going out of their way to do something. It’s like, where are you going? Wal-Mart? For what, socks? Why? Why are you going? Here, I have socks on my feet. Take these! No, take them! Take these socks, please!
So, I’m in Delaware. I wasn’t left with much time last night after the 6-hour-drive, which really took 8 hours, during which time I passed a Sonic, which we have none of in Western Pennsylvania, even though they advertise heavier than any other fast food chain in the vicinity of the city. Now I have proof they exist.
I briefly walked the boardwalk, where I ate fried seafood and listened to Homer play the accordion. He was charming.
Today, I’m hoping to fall asleep in the sand for at least 6 hours. I’m happy to be here.

AH! I was too freaked out about being lost in the cornfields of Delaware to pull in, but I’m absolutely going to go.

Ha! Summer always makes me extremely lazy.
I’ve been there! It usually takes me, like, 9 hours though, so at least you made better time than I would have.
Eat lots of taffy.
