Making room

November 27, 2008

I changed up the layout a bit around here, so if things are looking a little iffy, try refreshing a few times.

It’s still looking a little iffy? …Oh.

Awkward.

To give proper credit, the fonts are a mix of Conglomerfont and MEgalopolis Extra, and the background was retrieved from Pixels & IceCream.

I have these postcards of old French fashion histories and wanted to use them for something. Unfortunately for Bello, I was feeling especially odd last week and didn’t want Derrick to fall victim to Photoshop. Again. Today would end up being the day he sees my website for the first time in months.

Hi, sweetheart. Felt like checking your email this year?

I’m almost completely finished moving, and the whole time I was organizing my bedroom, I couldn’t stop thinking about how much I dislike New York City, which is probably the direct result of me never being cool enough to live there. I’ve visited multiple times, once or twice for an extended period, and was always ready to head home after three days.

It felt like a vacation I had to work at.

Believe me, you’re probably TOO cool for that city.

Moving is the worst thing ever. Ever.

Your header is exactly how I imagine it looked when Jesus was born.

And yes, the dog headed person was one of the Three Wise Men/people.

Very nice! I’m usually wary of dual right side bars, but you pulled it off so it doesn’t look too cluttered.

And I’m totally with you on NYC–I have a lot of friends there, and while it can be fun to visit, I’m always very hesitant to go because I always come back exhausted out of my mind!

I haven’t been able to get into the site for a few days? My server must hate me.

I’ve never made it to NYC and don’t even have the urge. There is something fun about the Pittsburghs and Clevelands of the world - I don’t know if I need THAT much action.
