Not one for style, but…
November 16, 2006
The closest I’ve ever gotten to really appreciating fashion was a season-long obsession with America’s Next Top Model. It’s actually more probable that that particular obsession stemmed from a fixation for beautiful women.
However, when living with five girls, it’s difficult not to come across a Vogue once in a while. I saw the cover (left) chilling on the coffee table while trying, for perhaps the 18th time, to get into Grey’s Anatomy. I want to love the show. I want to get excited on Thursday mornings at the prospect of it. Unfortunately, I think House set my expectations too high. Hugh Laurie, your wit has made me overcritical. But oh, how I love you.
Anyway, the Vogue. The dress. The cover just sucked me in. The full skirt. The puffy sleeves. The modesty of it. Breathtaking. I wanted it to materialize before me, to cover myself with it.
I asked my roommate what she thought of it.
“It looks medieval. I hate it.”
Ah, that’s what it is.

Day 4. Biscuits for Thanksgiving dinner.

House! and Grey’s Anatomy!
I actually love them both (although it appears that it’s a mutually exclusive thing for every other fan).
Hmm those biscuits look like they’d be tasty :9
