Pittsburgh on Google Street View

Pittsburgh is on Street View. I haven’t really dug through it yet, and so have yet to find individuals being hit by cars or pigeons being kicked by individuals, but they seem to have covered the city pretty thoroughly.

Also, speaking of Pittsburgh, cable has been running Sonic commercials on local channels since I was in high school, which resulted in groups of teenagers gathering around TV’s and angrily shaking their fists in unison as they watched unreachable images of Cherry Limeades and encouraged car-based dining. Last week, a search for the nearest location yielded these results, with the closest location being 131.45 miles away:
They’ve finally opened one up, with 14 more to come. I’m overjoyed, and sure I’ll be sick of them in no time.

Had it once in Charleston, SC and it was tremendous.
Now if we could only get a White Castle…

We see Sonic commercials all the time here, too, and I have NEVER been able to find one even that close. So sad.

I will never, ever, ever, ever get tired of Sonic, even if they opened one in my living room. The only thing better, as Mr. Woycheck notes, would be having a White Castle someplace closer than Canton (believe me, I’ve researched this…)

I quite literally nearly killed my entire family when I screamed with delight after seeing that they had broken ground on a Sonic near my house. My husband was not very amused. Then the same thing happened the next day when I saw IHOP in Robinson. Bring on White Castle, and my life will be complete.

google street view is in chicago too! i don’t know whether to feel excited or violated. actually, i’m kind of both. yep. i’m excited to be violated.
