the color of this city is so genuine and unending that even after living and working in over a dozen of the characteristic neighborhoods, it would take years to even begin to appreciate every pirogi kitchen and basement playhouse — the little pieces and parts beneath and beyond the skyline. i’m going to try.

i’ve found that there is another completely separate story to one’s life, one that can be told wholly in relation to the physical aspects of where they’ve lived. i’m lucky enough that i get to do so with a place such as pittsburgh.
