Walking home from class, a semester later
Original post here.
My fourth year of college is over, and I’ve realized a lot about myself, for instance, I will never be able to completely wrap my head around all of the many literary theories, and also, I am relieved I’m not having a wedding this year.
It’s amazing how much can happen in six months, especially when you don’t realize it’s happening. But then you look back and say, wow, I was absolutely insane.
Though, let’s face it, you’re still equally insane.
Sometimes life hits you with something that’s kind of awful, just so you’re more aware of the things that were kind of great.
What is guacamole, anyway?

That makes two of us glad you didn’t get married. ;)
:P
I love the difference in pictures!
married??? girl, that’s crazy talk.
I don’t even know what married means. Is it similar to baby? I really need to get on wikipedia.
Part of growing up is learning what you want — and what you don’t want.
Don’t knock marriage entirely, though. It has its perks ;)
Guacamole is made out of avacados. It is delicious but you should eat it quickly because it grows a skin. And that’s gross. A skin? Really?
In my hometown of PA Dutchiness, there was a type of cheese called “cup cheese’. It comes in a plastic container similar to cream cheese, except it’s kind of translucent, with a consistency and color reminiscent of purified mucus. When you scoop it out onto your cracker, it leaves a definite vacancy. And if you put it back in the fridge, the next time you look at it, the vacany is gone and the cheese has a perfectly flat, smooth surface again.
I spent a lot of my childhood wondering, “What IS cup cheese, anyways?” Anything that behaves like that or looks that much like snot is probably not safe for ingestion.
I’m not sure why I told you that, other than to convince you that you never want to go to the Land of PA Dutchiness, because they eat things that look like snot. You’re convinced now, right?
Guacamole is delicious.
Beautiful pictures. :)
I’m glad I’m getting married this year!! lol *shifty eyes*
I really like those pictures (and my fiance actually proposed to me over a bowl of guacamole!! … it was more romantic that that… but the guac was there!!)
guacmole is delicious, is what it is.
1 avacado, chopped red onion, chopped tomato, clove or two of garlis, some salt, a little lime juice and 1/3 of a cup of hot salsa = so good.
i wish i could still eat things.
Perspectives are wonderful…as are your pictures! You did an excellent job of capturing the same photos on opposite weather days. :-)
Those pics are absolutely gorgeous!
