Where Pebbles Are Polished and Diamonds Are Dimmed

    September 2, 2005

The first week is almost over, and it was excruciatingly long. My classes are basic. I won’t bore either of us with the details. Is anyone on facebook?

I’m going to add a creative section to keep the stuff that wouldn’t necessarily fit on the daily pages. Also, I was just hired as an editor at the Martini Lounge. So, please, visit.

Thanks for all of the e-mails.

I agree on your last blog. The suicide rate where I live for teens is very high… especially after the school shooting in March. I’m really close with the officer who was the first to enter the school that day… and I told him the other day he was my hero. It’s so terribly sad. Just think a few years ago I was in the same ordeal… but I rose above it… and I know I can do it again if it dares try to attack me. Wheeee for school. lol… I’ll visit the Martini Lounge as often as I can… I love reading. Take care hun… Also I tagged you to do some thingy ma jig. lol

My university is too… randomly situated in a different part of the world to deserve a place on Facebook, I’m afraid…

On another note, congratulations on your new position, and I’ll be visiting often - I love both the Lounge and your writing style!

I have no idea what to say, except for the fact that my classes aren’t basic and that I have so many projects running that I’m most likely going to mix it all up in my head. Hope you’re doing okay. *hug*

I’ve got the basic classes too. But now that my hours and classes are scattered throughout the day, weeks seem longer than usual.

      Boring classes, boring days… ahhhh… to be a college student… hahaha… :D

I don’t know my university email address… but once I find out, I’ll be on Facebook too! Even though I’ll be transferring schools next year (hopefully).
